You know the time requirement, the fear, and the frustration when you have a patient on the unit that is unsafe and has a recognized fall risk.
Today, you can change all of that. You have a chance to learn actual fall prevention methods that are so effective you may quickly be viewed as one of the most valuable members of your healthcare team.
And that’s because you’d be an expert in something most healthcare professionals just aren’t proficient in.
When it comes to fall prevention strategies, here’s the truth:
Most clinicians know little about it.
Sometimes we have no choice but to focus on the presenting injury or admitting diagnosis that we overlook critical fall prevention strategies. Or a risk was identified, and the standard protocols were put in to place.
You have this career changing opportunity to keep patients safe and families relieved.
As you watch this training video – at your pace and on your own schedule, you will gain an entire set of skills and knowledge. Tina Marie Baxter, APRN, GNP-BC, will highlight important new evidence to guide various fall prevention interventions and share her creative, new thought process to ‘see’ the whole patient picture.
Tina has included an actual comprehensive patient fall risk assessment. She will talk you through her critical thinking strategies to develop a plan of care to reduce fall risk.
A preventable fall injury is not going to happen on your watch!
